Should I sew along?

So, I imagine most of you have at least passing familiarity with the Super Online Sewing Match being hosted over at Sew Mama Sew.

Super Online Sewing Match

Anyway, I’m thinking about sewing along.

I’ve never actually sewn along with any online sewing competitions in the past, but I kind of regretted not sewing along with the first Project Sewn competition this past spring.  I’m a big deadline person, so the idea of having a set date to complete a project is attractive to me.  And since all five of the projects would likely have to be modified for my current and soon-to-be-changing state, it would present a nice challenge!

I already got the Craftsy course for the first challenge, so I guess this might be a rhetorical question at this point!

Are any of you sewing along?

(And please forgive my lack of productivity recently!  We were out of town for the Fourth and work has been keeping me pretty busy the last few days so I haven’t even been able to cobble together a few holiday travel pictures to share!  Here’s hoping I can get around to that in the next couple of days.)

I’m thinking about it, but I’m not sure. I might wait for a garment I’m actually keen to make. I’m all skirted out at the moment…

Understandable. I’m very interested to see what the future projects are — crossing my fingers that I already have the patterns! The skirt will present an interesting challenge for me since a fitted waistline with an invisible zipper is obviously not an option right now!
